At New Hingham Regional Elementary School we value the uniqueness of every child, a comprehensive curriculum and the integration of the Arts. 

Mission Statement
The mission of the New Hingham Regional Elementary School  is to develop successful learners through a student-centered, integrated learning environment combining academics and the Arts.  To accomplish this mission, everyone in the educational community will model and promote behaviors that foster self-esteem, respect and lifelong learning.

Faculty and Staff:

New Hingham is proud of its accomplished faculty of experienced teachers, a school psychologist, a school adjustment counselor, speech pathologist, occupational therapy assistant, school nurse, and a support staff that provides additional and necessary instruction in reading, writing and mathematics.  An energetic support staff of paraprofessionals, cafeteria and custodial personnel provide for non-instructional needs of students, and the school office is staffed by a fulltime principal and an administrative assistant.

We take great pride in being a part of the greater communities of Chesterfield and Goshen.  These activities in which we are involved include Hilltown Olympics, Memorial Day Celebrations in both towns, Town Recreation Programs , Local Cultural Councils and Girl and Boy Scout Troups. 

Our monthly school Celebration of Learning features a different class each month.  School.  Yearly activities include a Back-to-School Ice Cream Social, Grandparents’ Week, PTO, Responsive Classroom, Peer Mediation, visiting artists, Thanksgiving  Sharing, Senior Citizen Luncheon, Winter and Spring Band and Chorus Concerts, student publishing center and art studio, instrumental lessons, Hilltown Review Publication, and a variety of field trips.

  New Hingham is a School of Choice School.  Presently we have 20 of 170 students attending New Hingham as School Of Choice students.
